Hi I'm Joshua Moore

I’m from the great state of Washington, I'm a thinker, I like to have fun! I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm from Washington: born and raised. I have four brothers (one of which is my twin) so their was never a dull moment growing up! Most of my childhood was spent around computers, k'nex, sports, and the outdoors. I worked at Burberry and ProImage Sports. I enjoy a good round of golf and a pick-up basketball game. I root for all Seattle sports teams. I believe in growing your own food. I am an Eagle Scout. I plan to finish a degree in business administration and accounting. I then will graduate law school to become an attorney. I plan to be an entrepreneur and start several businesses in Washington. I like to learn new things and apply what I learn. I believe in uplifting, motivating, and looking for good in everything! I strive to use my different talents to do good in the world and to be a blessing to others.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon for many reasons. As a Mormon you can ask questions—there is no blind faith. In this faith I am able to find answers to my questions. I receive spiritual nourishment on a daily basis through prayer and scripture study. I have a testimony that this is the true church of Jesus Christ on this earth. A culmination of experiences led me to this knowledge. Although I was raised in this church, there comes a point in everyone's life where they need to seek out their own testimony. I read the evidence (The Book of Mormon) and came to know that it is the word of God to the people of ancient America. All that one seeks in God is found in this church. Ultimately, I am a Mormon because it's true.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by the example I set. I do my best to help and serve others. I always keep in my remembrance the principles of the gospel of Jesus Christ and strive to live accordingly. I continually seek to increase in my knowledge and understanding of the gospel. I seek improvements as necessary and try to remain teachable. I believe that we must all do our best to learn and progress. We can have the most happiness as we do so and stay within the teachings of the gospel of Jesus Christ. I also believe that you should enjoy life! I try and make the most of any situation and I always look for opportunities to do good.
