Hi I'm Tori

I grew up in Southern Utah. I'm now spreading the gospel as a Spanish-speaking missionary in Dallas, Texas. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm from a small family of four and I have one younger sister. Growing up in Southern Utah, I loved to camp in Pine Valley and hike at Zion's National Park. In high school, I took private sewing lessons and began my own tailoring business. After attending Utah State University in Logan, Utah for one year to pursue a degree in Marketing, I was called to serve an LDS mission for 18 months in Dallas, Texas speaking Spanish.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a Latter Day Saint family and my parents both served missions before they were married in the St. George temple. Even though I was baptized a member at a young age, I didn't feel truly converted to my faith until I was older and wanted to find answers to questions I had about my faith and future. When I began to pray sincerely and with a specific purpose, I knew that our Father in Heaven was listening. I feel His love for me and for everyone. He knows what we're experiencing and the trials we're going through. I don't know where I would be today without my faith.

How I live my faith

Before serving a mission, I was asked to be a Youth Family History Consultant to help others find their ancestors and learn more about them. I also helped in our ward's program for young women and planned activities to bring us closer to Christ. While attending a Young Single Adult ward at Utah State University, I was asked to organize our Ward Prayer on Sunday nights so we could all pray together for those in need. Currently, I'm serving as a missionary in Dallas, Texas to bring people to Christ and His gospel.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

To share the gospel of Jesus Christ with others and bring people closer to Him. Missionaries have a strong testimony of the information they want to share. Because it's had such an impact on their life, they want to tell everyone about it! They want everyone to know how much God loves them so they can experience the same joy and happiness in knowing the truth. Show more Show less
