Hi I'm Brittney Lott

I love to play sports. I love to draw and spend time with my family. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Well, I like to do a lot of things. I love to play sports, specifically softball and volleyball, but I'll play just about any other sport too. I am also going to college to, hopefully, become a physical therapist. I also love to draw. My dream is to, one day, be able to paint inside an LDS temple. We'll see though. I also love my movies. I love to watch them, especially my superhero movies. And I like the superheroes. Oh and I want to give a shout out to all you Doctor Who fans out there.

Why I am a Mormon

Yes, I was born and raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but I had to choose my own path for my own. And I chose to be a Mormon. I love this gospel with all my heart. This gospel of Christ is my life, literally. Most all my friends are Mormon. And because my family members are all active members, we have a common bond that has brought us even closer together. Our faith is the same and so we see the need of staying close together and working through the hard times together. I love my family so much and because I do, the principle that families can be together forever brings comfort and peace to me. I am a Mormon because I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior. I know that God is my Heavenly Father and loves me individually for who I am. I know that Joseph Smith restored Christ's church on the earth. I know that it is important to nourish our faith and our testimonies by praying, reading the scriptures, going to church, etc. I have received these witnesses through the power of the Holy Ghost.

How I live my faith

I believe I live my faith day by day. I do my best to be myself and nobody else. A favorite quote my dad would always tell me when I would leave to hang out with my friends is, "Remember who you are." Totally true right? I know what my standards are and my morals and beliefs and that I should stand for them wherever I go. I also pray every day and read my scriptures. I've had callings where I've had to prepare and teach people. I love to serve others and help people out. I also try to be as Christlike as I can. I love to be people's friends and be that shoulder to cry on and that friend that will listen, because I want uplift others, including my friends, just like Christ would to everyone he'd run into.
