Hi I'm Stefan Davidson

I grew up on a farm in Washington State. I was involved in Music, Sports, and School Leadership. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up on a hay farm with seven brothers and sisters of whom I am the second youngest. I played football and basketball in high school and was lucky enough to be part of a state champion football team. I also lettered in choir for three years, participated in a drama production, was in various clubs such as FFA, FBLA and Knowledge Bowl, and am an Eagle Scout. I was the student body president of my high school. I enjoy singing, reading, playing basketball or football, riding horses, boating, and driving tractor on the farm.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born to an LDS family with a loving father and mother leading the way. I have been taught since I was young to go to church, read my scriptures, and pray each day. However I did not always do as I have been taught. I did not want to follow a church simply because my parents did, and rebelled against some of the commandments. There has never been another time in my life when I was more miserable, or had a less clear view of my agency in my life. I chose to find out for myself whether the gospel of Christ and the atonement that my parents had taught me was true. The atonement and the docrine of Christ have blessed my life. I have a testimony that the Book of Mormon is inspired doctrine that works in unison with the same doctrine held in the Old and New Testaments. That Joseph Smith was truly a prophet of God who restored Christ's church in the latter day, that we are Sons and Daughters of God, and that Christ fulfilled our Heavenly Fathers Plan of Happiness with his sacrifice, the Atonement. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

The way that Christ has taught me to live my faith is through service. I have found that of myself I can accomplish nothing but when I serve God and his sons and daughters I accomplish his will according to my faith. I have been a hometeacher and active in leadership in my young mens group. I have sung in the ward choir since I was 13 and in the stake choir since I was 16 and participated in the new church curriculum pilot program. I am trying to keep the commandments and have been called to serve a mission in El Salvador Santa Ana. I love reading my scriptures, writing in my journal, and praying each day. When I live without his guidance I am lost. I have a testimony that consistent study of his gospel has enlightened and blessed my life like nothing else can.
