Hi I'm Kamron

I am the youngest of 12 children. I sing and play various musical instruments. Music is my passion. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I have been LDS my entire life. Even growing up with the church, I sometimes got discouraged and fell away. Through everything though, I always knew the church was true and I try every day to be the best person that I can be. My family is and always has been very important to me and one of the greatest blessings in my life. I love to play the piano and sing with my siblings. I love music and am lucky to have the talents that I do. I am currently serving my mission and love every moment of it.

Why I am a Mormon

My father grew up with 7 other siblings and my mother grew up with 6. Both of their parents were LDS and my parents followed that example. They had 12 children and I am the youngest. We have always gone to church, been taught to read the Book of Mormon regularly and been taught to keep our standards high. With the amazing example of my parents I have always been a part of the church and tried my very best to keep it close. I have had trials in my life and sometimes even thought of leaving the church, but now as I look back I am so glad I didn't and I don't know where I would be without it. I know that the church is true and I have been given blessings from it throughout my entire life. I have read the Book of Mormon and prayed about it and have been given an unwavering faith and knowledge that it is true. In the summer of 2012 we lost one of my older brothers to cancer. It was devastating but we got through it thanks to the gospel. I know that families are forever and that nothing, not even death, can separate the love and power of a family. I am thankful for the church and all it does for me and I know with every part of me that it is true.

How I live my faith

I keep myself very involved in my church. With everything that I do, I try to make sure I am keeping myself worthy and being an example to everyone around me. I surround myself with wonderful family and friends who will help me achieve those goals. I am serving a mission and I am excited to spread and share the gospel and all that it has done for me. I love to help and serve those around me. I live so that at any time and in any moment I can share with others what I know to be true and hope that someday they will know too. I love being able to share my testimony with others. I want anyone and everyone who is ready and willing to learn to know of the truth. I have personally witnessed the blessings and truthfulness of this church and will do anything to help others do the same.

What do Mormons believe about family?

We believe that families last forever even after death. Having an eternal family is one of the greatest blessings we are all given in this life. Some of our greatest memories come from spending time with family, but the loss of a family member is devastating and it changes our lives forever. After the loss of my older brother, I came closer to the church and gained a personal knowledge of forever families and I cannot wait to be able to see my brother again. Death doesn't need to be the end of our family bonds. Families who accept the gospel and follow the example of Christ can be together forever through ordinances performed in God's holy temples. Jesus gave to Peter the power to have things sealed on earth and sealed in heaven (Matthew 16:19). This same sealing power was restored to Joseph Smith. We believe that families can be sealed through that power allowing them to live together for time and all eternity. I personally believe this to be true and I am anxious to spend time with my family in the eternities. Show more Show less
