Hi I'm Shon

Hello, I am a husband, father, retired police officer, business owner and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have a small farm with milk cows that we milk daily and work in our excavation business during the day. My wife and I have six children. We enjoy our family more than anything and are looking forward to their futures. Rural life is good to us and a great way to raise our children.

Why I am a Mormon

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has been a guide in my life and the rock of my salvation. I know the church has had the true gospel of Jesus Christ restored through a prophet of God. I am eternally greatful for the gospel and love of my Savior Jesus Christ. I have found a straight and solid path that leads to my Savior and eternal happiness with my family.

How I live my faith

I love the gospel of Jesus Christ and look forward to attending church every Sunday with my family. Serving one another in the church and especially those who are not members of our church. My wife and I love serving in our church. I serve with the men 18 yrs old and up in my ward and meet with them often. We visit members in our ward monthly and help with their needs when they need. I also teach them on Sundays about the gospel of Jesus Christ. Teaching gives me the oppurtunity to learn more of the gospel which I love.

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

Shon
As man we fall short sometimes so our loving Heavenly Father knew that we would need a Savior. I marvel at the love Jesus Christ showed for me and you by suffering for us and making it possible for each of us to return to a heavenly home with our Heavenly Father and He who saved us all, if we so choose, Jesus Christ. This knowledge give me hope and faith for the future. Show more Show less
