Hi I'm Kyle Mollinet

I was the Student Body President of my high school. I'm serving a mission in Ukraine. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a high school graduate and a swim coach for a younger swim team. I LOVE my job because I love swimming and swam for 7 years before retiring to pursue other passions. I was the Student Body President of my high school last year which is an experience that taught me more about service, love, care, and a whole lot of other traits I won't expound on. My absolute favorite activity is dancing with my friends at school dances, sometimes of other schools, because we like to dance so much. We're always clean, fun, and make the best out of every dance. I am an eagle scout and love watching stars or the sunset on my roof, especially if I need to clear my mind. I'll be serving a mission for the church starting July 31, 2013 in Ukraine and will be serving for two years. I am ecstatically excited to do the work and cannot wait to get started.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the LDS faith, but this is not the only reason I am a Mormon. Let's just say that I would never learn a new language and go overseas away from my family and friends with little or no contact while preaching the gospel on a mission if I wasn't absolutely sure for myself that the LDS faith is the true church. I know that it is. The real reason I am a Mormon is not only because of my family's great example but because of the happiness that I feel through the truth of this gospel and the hope that it brings into my life. Through hours and hours of personal prayer, study of the Bible and Book of Mormon, and other spiritual experiences, I have found for myself that Mormonism has the complete truth and brings remarkable amounts of joy into the lives of its members. I would be nothing without this truth.

How I live my faith

The biggest way I will serve my church is my mission. Preaching the gospel two years with very little distractions in another place and bringing people the happiness I have felt from the Spirit is the best way I could possibly serve at this time in my life. I visit two older families in my neighborhood monthly with one of my church leaders as a home teacher. It's always really interesting because we'll teach them a lesson about the gospel but usually they teach us a greater lesson afterwards because of their wisdom. I have served in the scouting program as well as a leader of the 13 and 14 year old boys group at church.
