Hi I'm Kaitlyn

I am the youngest of seven children. I love music, and I play the violin. I love to make people smile. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born and raised in Indiana. I just graduated High School (2013), and I want to go to college to become a nurse. But before that, I am going to go on a mission!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I have felt the Spirit testify to me that this is Christ's gospel on the earth. To deny that feeling of truth would be to turn my back on my Savior. I know that Christ loves me and everyone else on this earth. He is always there for me when I need a helping hand. When I follow the gospel of Jesus Christ, I feel a happiness that can't be felt any way else. His gospel means everything to me.

How I live my faith

Both of my parents are Mormon, so I was privileged to grow up in a home where honesty, love, and many other good morals were taught and lived. But most importantly, my parents taught me of Jesus Christ. It has been hard at times to stick to keeping these morals, but since I have implemented them in my life, I have been the happiest I have ever been. I love to serve others. I have been able to be a counselor at our church girls camp (ages 12-18) and a leader over the girls youth group (ages 8-11). It's amazing how kids look up to you. And it can be a lot of pressure. But I keep Christ in my sights, and I try to live like Him. Growing up, I didn't think that my life would ever make a positive difference for anyone. But it just shows that every single person has a purpose in life. With Christ's help, I have become more, even at this early stage in my life, than I ever thought was possible. Because of this, there is no other way I'd rather live.
