Hi I'm Michael Brown

I am an adopted child who was adopted into a Mormon family as a baby. They have raised me to be LDS my entire life.

About Me

I was born in Tucson Arizona and shortly after I was picked up from a LDS family who thought they were unable to have children. After having me for a month they found out they were going to have a child of their own,my amazing little sister. We were both raised in the church in California. I used to love going to church. then when I was fourteen we moved to Utah were I found a not so great crowd. Dont get me wrong I will always enjoy my high school friends but they just werent that great of an influence on me. I stopped enjoying church and didnt want to go because I felt like it was a waste of time. My parents were trying to get me to go on a mission at the age of 19 but I just didnt want anything to do with the church so i moved away. At first I moved to Salt Lake City Utah, then I moved to San Diego just so I could get away from the church. Even after all of this I still wasnt feeling right or happy in my life so I decided to move back home in Utah. I now know that I felt this way is because I wasnt doing the things the Lord wanted me to. I was going to college till I decided to serve a mission. I was called to serve in Seattle Washington in the summer of 2013. I am the oldest of two and my sister was called to serve in Guatemala.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have truly seen how the Lord blesses my life and the life of others. I wasn't always a devote Mormon growing up and was always fighting with my sister. After she left for her mission I was able to realize how important to me she was. I know that when I pass away I can be with her and my family for eternity.

How I live my faith

I love to serve others in my community and try to help out those I don't really know. I was previously a Sunday school teacher for the 7 year old's in our Ward.
