Hi I'm Susan

I am a grandmother. I love all children. I enjoy many hobbies. I love serving other people. I am a Mormon.

About Me

Family is the most important thing to me. I love working with children of all ages, and love teaching them new things, and helping them to reach their potential. I love all forms of crafts, but especially to knit and crochet. I love to cook, can, and preserve all kinds of food, and love to try new recipes. I am not very outgoing, but once I know you, I will stick by you thru thick and thin. I have served faithfully in the church for several decades, and hope to continue to do so.

Why I am a Mormon

I was introduced to the church by my high school sweetheart, who has become my husband of nearly 50 years. Shortly after our marriage, we fell into inactivity for a number of years, but realized something was missing in our lives. We once again began attending church, serving others, and followed the Lord's commandments. Since that time I have diligently done all that I can of what I know to be right. I love the gospel and working in the church. The gospel has blessed me and benefited my family in so many ways that I cannot express them all.

How I live my faith

I have had a variety of church calling working with the youth Sunday classes and in Scouting. I have worked with the young women and adult women as well. Serving in the church in teaching and in leadership positions have helped me to develop characteristic and skills that I may not have developed in any other way. I have worked for the Red Cross and other community organizations, and have learned that there are good people everywhere.
