Hi I'm Keith

I develop computer software to model bodies of water. My family is the center of my life. I like sports. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have a PhD in engineering and i taught Civil Engineering for 18 years. I am happily married for 26 years and I have 4 children. I have had the opportunity to work with professional engineers all around the world through the software developed as a university professor and continue to develop in my professional career. Since I am from Utah, and taught at a church owned university for a significant part of my life, I am often asked how the church operates. I enjoy sharing the joy that the church and gospel have brought to my life. I strongly believe that we can and should be happy now. To many people are looking to the future to find happiness. We believe that our purpose is to be happy. My own version of this motto is "if you are not happy, you are not doing it right."

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a large family (7 children) that was active in church activities. The teachings of my youth and the association i have with family and friends brought me joy and fulfillment. I have strengthened my commitment to my Savior and his church year by year.

How I live my faith

My faith is the center of my life. I have worked with young men from 12 to 17 years old for the past 12 years. This includes acting as a leader in the Boy Scouts of America and being involved in weekly activities as well as gospel study and Sunday services. I enjoy contributing my time to benefit others, especially the rising generation. The teen years are a time of questions and uncertainty. If my service can help even one youth find peace and joy, my time will be well spent. I share my values and standards with friends, collegues and associates around the world.
