Hi I'm Cameron

I was born in Yuma, AZ I am a convert of the church since December 2012, I love to draw, and I work in Law Enforcement.

About Me

I am number seven out of ten kids; six brothers and three sisters. On my free time I like to draw, play sports and work out.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the fulfillment and joy it has brought to my life. Before joining the church I had lived my life for 12 years with out religion. After graduating college and beginning my career I began to notice that there was something missing, but knew not how to find it. After going to many other church's, reading, and studying about their religion I began to lose focus and the hope that I would ever find it. Upon coming home from work there where two missionaries from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints out side helping my neighbor. As I walked by they asked if the could speak with me and share a few words out of the book of Mormon. After meeting with them they then asked me when they could come back. I found myself wanting to know more so I invited them back, even with my doubts. However, right after they left I started to read from the Book of Mormon. As I read I felt whole, fulfilled, and I knew that the Book of Mormon was true and that it was what I was missing. My doubts where gone and I had found the true Church of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I'm a assistant group leader for the men in our ward. We go out and visit people who have not been to church in a while and help them with anything they need. By getting to serve people, who have the same standards as I do, it really strengthens my own faith and testimony about why I joined this church. Being in Law Enforcement and a LDS member, my colleagues have learned to respect my standards and how I live my Faith. At the LDS church I have always felt welcome and though I am away from my family, I still feel like I am at home.
