Hi I'm Chelsey Stegelmeier

I am a college student. I love being outside, anytime, anywhere! I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love people! I love life and I love to adventure. I love my family. They are my rock. If laughing were an occupation I would be all over that! I am about to serve the Lord as a missionary and share that thing that has changed my whole life - the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ! When I get back from serving the Lord I'll be going back to Utah Valley University to finish the best degree ever!! I study Communications! It is the best, because it is all about others! I am on the UVU track team! I am a thrower. I throw shot-put, discus and hammer and I LOVE it. I love being outdoors, boating, rappelling, rock climbing, backpacking, horseback riding, ultimate Frisbee, soccer, basketball, track and field, running, mountain biking, reading quality books, playing the guitar, and building memories with the amazing people around me! I love to find new challenges and tackle them. Sometimes life is like climbing, full of the unknown and kind of scary. Smile, laugh, trust, and take the jump, because the hardest things are the most worth it! "There will never be a better time to be the best you than today"-Robin Sharma

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the feeling. Knowing I have a Heavenly Father that loves me gives me indescribable comfort. He loves me! No matter what! I love the gospel because it gives me hope. It makes the bad days good and the rough times bearable! That doesn't mean we won't have challenges. But trusting the Lord every day with my every day makes it possible for me to achieve my greatest goals and dreams! No matter how terrible and down I may feel, trusting in His plan changes my perspective and through Christ I reach my greatest heights. Knowing that my family, my amazing family will be eternal because of the Savior's sacrifice gives me peace. So much peace. When I was a teenager I wasn't really sure if I believed and so I asked. I read the Book of Mormon and asked if it really was true. The answer to that question did not come all at once, but one chapter at time. Through verses read in the quiet times. I know. I know that it is the word of God!

How I live my faith

I have been called as a representative of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I am going to California to help others find Him!!! This has been the best adventure of my entire life and I'm not even out serving yet! I enter the Missionary Training Center July 24, 2013!
