Hi I'm Spencer

I am a missionary going to Taiwan because I know the power of the Gospel. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Salt Lake City raised in a great LDS family. I never really understood the power and meaning of the church until I was 16 and read the Book of Mormon for the first time cover to cover. I always had known the church was good, and I had kept the standards of the church, but once I started reading the Book of Mormon on a daily basis I felt the power and love my Heavenly Father has for me. I am now graduated from highschool and on my way to Taiwan to serve a mission for two years. I can't wait to help others feel the same genuine feeling the gospel brings into my own life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have gained a testimony through reading the Book of Mormon and prayer. There is not one thing that the church does that will not help someone in their life. It has helped me so much and I firmly believe that when we allow our father in heaven to help us as we seek his guidance through prayer, asking having hope and faith he will help us, that our lives can be improved every day we live.

How I live my faith

I think it is so important to live and show what you believe through example. By living and showing others what I believe, people will hopefully see how important the gospel is to me and how much it has helped me in my life. The gospel of Jesus Christ makes me want to serve others, smile more, and be outgoing and caring. I hope that by living the gospel, people around me will see that I live by the church standards and try to develop more as a person each day.
