Hi I'm Kaylee

I'm me! A photographer, DJ and Mormon.

About Me

Well I grew up in Bristol with my parents and two brothers. So I have a little Bristolian accent. I moved over to Wales for university to study documentary photography and after my degree fell in love with the place so stayed. I've been a DJ since I was 13 so been doing that a few years. I also love photography. I love taking pictures and recording my life. I take pictures of everything. I work as a photographer and I an also trained as a photography teacher. I love being round my friends and the random antics we get up to. I also enjoy playing volleyball, rock climbing and art. I have learnt to say YES more. To do and experience new things and opportunities and LOOK UP!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that is gospel is true. I have witnessed it throughout my life. I know that Heavenly Father takes great care in our own lives. He knows us all personally. He created us. As such he leads and guides me in my life. The decisions I make and course it has taken me are down to my Heavenly Father. Sometimes it’s been hard. My Mother died of cancer and although this was a very difficult period I know this is part of Heavenly Fathers plan for me. Through this time I know we were blessed with so many miracles and tender mercies of the Lord, and he continues to bless me, my family and my friends. I know as I strive to be obedient to the Lord. Follow his will and guidance which I receive from the scriptures and through prayer, he directs and guides me. He wants us all to return to live with him again. He wants us to reach our full potential. Look up to him!

How I live my faith

Currently I am just about to go and serve a mission for the church to go and teach people about it in Singapore. I feel greatly blessed and humbled that Heavenly Father would have me go and do this. I feel that because of the things I know to be true about the church and how it has influenced my life I need to share this with other people. Giving them the opportunity to recognise Heavenly Fathers hand in their lives and access the blessings extended to them. I know Heavenly Father loves us all and has a plan for each of us. So I try to put my trust in him in all I do in my life. One principle I try and live by in my life is to always LOOK UP! Look to our Saviour Jesus Christ and Heavenly Father and follow their will for me. I also am very involved in they YSA programme in my stake. I have just recently been released from a calling in the programme. I am so grateful for the YSA programme. It is there for all 18 to 30 year olds as a place to meet those of a similar age, make lasting friendships and draw closer to your Heavenly Father. I know this programme and the friends I’ve made through it have blessed me so much especially during some very difficult times in my life. Lessons like institute help me draw closer to my Heavenly Father and I learn from my peers and their experiences. They are angels in my life and lift me up when I fall.
