Hi I'm Kolby

I grew up in Utah, I love lacrosse, I want to be an engineer, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love sports, building things, solving problems, I enjoy hiking, and being around others. After I serve a mission I plan on going to college and studying to become an engineer.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a Mormon family and I grew up loving this church but that doesn't mean I am only a member because my family is. I have read the Book of Mormon and prayed about it and I have felt the Holy Ghost and had a comforting and sure feeling that the book was true and that this church was true. The joy that this church brings into your life is incredible. That doesn't mean life will be easy because hard times will come but when they do I know I can pray and talk to my Heavenly Father and that he will comfort me and that he loves me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by sharing what I believe with others. I am about to go serve a mission for this church and I am excited to share this gospel that I love with others so that they may have the joy that I have had.

What do Mormons believe concerning the doctrine of grace?

Kolby
We believe that it is by grace that we are saved after all we can do. It is not grace only or works only. We have to work hard to follow Christ's example but no one is perfect but because of grace when we slip and mess up we can repent and start over and try to be a little better. We don't "earn" salvation because there is no way we can ever repay what Christ has done for us but if we are not ACTING upon the faith in Christ that we have then we don't really have faith. We will be judged by our works not saved by them. Show more Show less
