Hi I'm Dave

I'm a father of 3 with the best wife ever. I enjoy motorcycles, racquetball, movies and food. Living in Riverside, CA.

About Me

I'm an engineer in southern california. My lovely wife and I have three beautiful and successful kids who are mostly grown now. We recently became grandparents. I like to ride my Honda Valkyrie, play racquetball once in a while and watch a good movie.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a mormon because I believe in Jesus Christ. I believe the Book of Mormon. Through personal revelation, I know Jesus lives, and the church teaches his gospel. The gospel of Jesus Christ applies to every man, woman and child who has ever lived or will live on the earth. No other church teaches this truth.

How I live my faith

I've served my church and community in many ways. I've been active in Boy Scouts, Little League and high school sports as my kids went through those programs. I've served as a congregation leader, and with all the church youth programs.

Why don’t Mormons have paid clergy?

Unselfish service builds and strengthens both parties. Church members don't seek positions in the church, neither do they normally decline calls to serve. We believe that calls to serve are received by inspiration, through those who hold the authority. After a time, we will be released from one call, and likely receive another. No position is more or less important than another. And in no other church will the members serve in so many different capacities. Show more Show less
