Hi I'm Madi

I grew up in Utah. I am the middle child of five. I love to sing and I am a mormon.

About Me

In my free time I love to sing, teach my self piano, read, watch television, and spend time with my friends and family! I have been called to serve in the Philippines Baguio mission, Tagalog speaking, and I will be leaving to the Provo MTC October 23rd! After my mission, I plan on attending college at Weber State University.

Why I am a Mormon

I can't imagine living life without being a Mormon. Being a Mormon brings me such happiness, purpose, and direction in my life. I am serving a mission because I want others to be able to feel likewise and come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ. I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is true. I know that we have a loving Heavenly Father who cares deeply for each and every one of us. I know that Jesus Christ was sent to Earth, lived a perfect life, performed the Atonement, was crucified, and resurrected the third day. I know that Christ lives and that He knows us perfectly. Whenever we feel alone or lost, or simply need someone to talk to, He is there and cares. I know that Joseph Smith truly saw Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ and that through the power of God, he was able to translate the Book of Mormon and restore the Gospel upon the Earth. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that by reading it, you will be able to find direction and peace in your life. I know Thomas S. Monson is the only true and living prophet on the Earth today and that he receives direct revelation for the Church and the whole world from God today. I know that with God's help anything is possible. I know that one day we can return to live with God again if we repent and strive to do what's right. I know that families can be together forever through temple covenants and ordinances and in righteous living. I know that God loves me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing everything I possibly can to follow Jesus Christ's example and to become more like Him.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

We believe that families can be together forever if we follow Jesus Christ and keep the commandments of God. Families are so important because they help us learn and grow and teach us how to truly love others. I love my family so much and I know that we can be together forever through the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Show more Show less

What is faith?

Faith is a "hope for things which are not seen which are true." (Alma 32:21) Real faith is having confidence in God and knowing that whatever happens is part of His plan. Faith is knowing that God can deliver you out of your trials and sorrows, but that He will do what's best for you to learn and grow and come closer to Christ. Show more Show less

Do you really believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today?

Yes, I really do believe there is a prophet like Moses alive today. His name is Thomas S. Monson and He leads Christ's church on Earth today through revelation from God. By listening to the prophet and then doing as he directs, we will be able to find happiness and come closer to God. Show more Show less
