Hi I'm Luke McKinnon

I grew up in Taylorsville, Utah. I have the greatest family. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ and I am proud to be a Mormon!:)

About Me

I come from a great family, I am an Eagle Scout and have loved being a Boy Scout. I love camping & hunting with my Dad and brothers, I have a amazing sister. My Mom & Dad always taught us how to respect women. I use to play the trumpet, and love to shoot my bow with my Dad and brothers. I love getting to meet new people and making new friends, I really love it when I make people smile & laugh. I love playing sports and and watching movies. My family has set so many great examples for me that have made me the person who I am today.

Why I am a Mormon

I know the purpose of this life is to be a disciple of Christ, it took me a while to grasp that but I believe I have finally got it down, to help others and to always be found in places that I should be found. I should always be in the service of my fellowman. I know without a doubt that families are forever and I cannot even imagine being without them. I know that the Holy Ghost can always guide me, and be a strength to me. I know that the Book of Mormon is true with my whole heart I have read it and have received a sure answer for myself, it was one of the most overwhelming feelings to know that my Savior loves me and truly answers or questions through prayer! I love this gospel and i would do anything for it. That is why I am a Mormon

How I live my faith

I grew up in a Christ centered home, we always talked about Christ and what would he do. I come from a very close family, we have many traditions as a family. I know that my Dad loves my Mom and my Mom loves my Dad, I know I am always loved by them. I am currently serving a mission in Alabama Birmingham, I have great friends that are serving missions also. I read the Book of Mormon daily and ever time i read it it strengthens my testimony that i know it is true. I love it when I am able to help make someones day better or just to make them smile. I have a deep love for service that my father has shown me over many years and now i have the great chance to serve the people of Alabama.
