Hi I'm Joshua Ellis

I love going to, playing, and watching sports; I'm serving a mission in Argentina, I love photography, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love sports, especially soccer, football, and basketball. I will be going to BYU in Fall 2015 after serving my mission to the Argentina Buenos Aires North mission. I was born and raised in Utah. My favorite color is blue. I collect stamps. My favorite food is pasta with chicken. I want to have a career in sports journalism. I have one brother and no sisters. I love to take pictures, especially lightning shots.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this is the true gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, on the earth today. I know that I have a Father in Heaven who loves me, and knows me personally. I have felt of His love for me through the Holy Ghost and I know that through the Holy Ghost, I may know the truth of all things. Throughout my life I have been blessed to live in an area where I am part of the religious majority. I have also been to parts of the world where the gospel has fewer members, and I felt the same spirit in every location. God loves each and every one of His children. Many times, when I have had doubts or questions, the Holy Ghost has testified to me that this gospel is true. The sweet joy of the Atonement and the blessings that come in everyday things are a great part of this gospel, and they are wonderful. The Plan of Salvation is for everyone, and nothing is beyond the reach of the Savior's help. He is knocking at the door, waiting for us to answer; He wants to help. Trust in Him and have faith, enduring to the end!

How I live my faith

I will be serving a mission in the Argentina Buenos Aires North mission beginning Fall 2013. In my ward, I was called as a Ward Missionary where I taught less active members. I also was a home teacher with my Dad.
