Hi I'm Zach

I was born in Germany, I enjoy science and sports, and I was baptized and confirmed a member at the age of 15, and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I enjoy science, especially physics, however I also enjoy playing sports like Football (the American kind) and Tennis, I love camping and spending time with others that are close to me. I am currently serving a full-time mission in the Milan, Italy mission until August 2015. When I come back from my mission I would like to go to school for Computer Programming and some other science related topic.

Why I am a Mormon

I was not born into the church, although my father was. He became inactive when my mother died while I was still very young. He got remarried outside of the church, but then decided, when I was 14, to start going back to church, and gave us the opportunity to go with him. We all decided to, and shortly after I turned 15, I was baptized and confirmed a member. I am so grateful for the gospel, it brought change and peace into our household and my life. One of my biggest fears before I joined the church was "What happens when I die?", and thanks to the church, I now have my answer, and no longer need to live in fear of that.

How I live my faith

I am a full-time missionary, basta.

Who was Joseph Smith?

Joesph Smith was a boy who, at the age of 14, was not sure which church he should join. He read James 1:5 in the Bible, which reads (in the King James version): "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally (freely), and upbraideth (censures) not; and it shall be given him." He asked Heavenly Father which church was true, and he recieved an answer from God and Jesus Christ, who appeared to him in a grove in the woods, saying that they were all wrong, and that he should join none of them. Joseph was later visited my the angel Moroni, and after 4 years, translated Golden Plates that he was led to into what is now known as the Book of Mormon, another testament of Jesus Christ, and became the prophet of the restored church, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
