Hi I'm Maciah Nosler

I'm currently serving a mission in the Cauayan Philippines. I'm the oldest of seven children. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 19 year old woman who grew up with a LDS background but had no real faith in religion. I had relied on my parents testimony and faith and when death, and other things came along in my life I lost all sense of religion and where I belonged. It took really good friends and a lot of help from neighbors and leaders for me to find out for myself who I was and what I wanted to become.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because when there was no one on this Earth who could understand how I was feeling and how I was dealing with things, I found that Christ understood every pain and sorrow that I had. I have seen the consequences of thoughtlessness and offhand comments and had to find out for myself who I wanted to be. If I wanted to talk of Christ or if I wanted to act like him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be an example. I believe in respecting all religions, lifestyles, and choices that others make. I have no right to judge others for what they are dealing with and how they deal with different trials. My philosophy is to live my life as righteously as I can and if others are interested in why I act different than most I will tell them. Leading by example is he best way to teach and to love others. Not forcing your beliefs on them.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Maciah Nosler
The Mormon lifestyle is one centered on love and caring for each other. I am the oldest of seven children, with four younger sisters and two younger brothers at the end. One thing that I am so grateful for is the fact that my parents taught me what it means to be a family. Families stick together till the end. It is often very hard and it feels like so many things are going wrong, but as we move closer to Christ we see how the necessity of being a family unit. We are each others support group and when friends come and go, we have to be there to support each other in everything we do. With this many girls, of course we fight, but when it comes to the end of the day no one but me can pick on my siblings. We stand strong together and have a bond that can never be broken or forgotten. Show more Show less
