Hi I'm Tyler

I love wake-boarding, snowboarding, and playing volleyball. I love to hang out with family and friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Tyler. I am the oldest of four children and I live in Gilbert, Arizona. I really enjoy going wakeboarding, quadding, snowboarding, playing volleyball and spending time with my friends and family. My family really enjoys traveling and going on family vacations. I love spending time with my family- they are my best friends. I just finished my first year of college and I love it! I’m excited for what the futures holds in my life.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know for myself that this church is true. I have read the Book of Mormon and prayed to know if it was true for myself. The Spirit has testified to me again and again that it is an inspired work and that it is the foundation of God’s church on the earth. I know it to be true. I know that Thomas S. Monson is the Lord’s chosen prophet on the earth today and that he gives us direction from our Heavenly Father as to what he would have us do. Sometimes people think that having the Spirit telling you something is true is unrealistic, or impossible. If you have this or a similar opinion, I would challenge you to read the Book of Mormon, learn about our religion, and see for yourself the knowledge and happiness about life that it brings. You too can receive a witness from the Holy Ghost that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. Read the book with a sincere desire to know the truth of it and pray about it. I promise you that if you do, you will receive an answer. All of the good things that I have in my life can be traced back to my faith and decision to be an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I am so glad that am I blessed to have this knowledge and happiness with others. My greatest desire is to share this same happiness that I have with others. I hope that you will give the Book of Mormon a chance, and learn for yourself if it is true.

How I live my faith

I love being a part of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. In addition to the knowledge and happiness the gospel brings to my life, I enjoy actively participating in my home ward. Most of my best friends and memories growing up came as a result of my involvement in my church. I participate in a youth choir in my ward (local church) and I also enjoy participating in service projects and activities beyond the normal Sunday meetings. I attend church youth activities and teach lessons in young men gatherings. I am actively involved in the Boy Scouts of America both as a scout and as a leader. I gained invaluable life skills, life lessons, and lifelong friends through Boy Scouts. Overall, my life is largely centered and enhanced my association with my faith. I can honestly say that I am truly happy, and I understand my purpose in life because of my membership in my church.
