Hi I'm Jordan

I'm a Swimmer, I love to Learn, I'm a Boater/Tuber, I love to Sing and Act, I'm a Missionary, and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

Hello, I am Jordan. I am a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am serving a mission in Sanford, North Carolina in the North Carolina Raleigh Mission. I was on the swim team, student council, and college while in High School. I graduated high school with my high school diploma and Associates of Science. I love my family. I love my friends. I swam the 50 yard freestyle and the 100 yard freestyle for swim team. I was the Commissioner of Assemblies on Student Council(or Exec Council) which means I planned assemblies and did whatever they wanted me too. I have participated in Science Fairs, the NCSSSMST conference, and was able to compete and make it to the finals for the International Spirit of Innovation Competition. I love life!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have a testimony of this Church. I have prayed and received my own answer from God that the Book of Mormon is true, that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God, that we have a prophet today: Thomas S. Monson, and that Jesus Christ is truly my Savior and Redeemer! . My parents were born into it, so I was born into it, but I have received my own witness that it is true. I read the Book of Mormon Another Testament of Jesus Christ and when I truly wanted to know for myself that it was true, I prayed about it as Moroni, a prophet that gives his account and teachings in the Book of Mormon, challenged ( Moroni Chapter 10 Verses 3-5) and received my answer, not right away, but a few days later when I was singing hymns in my car and I knew it was true and have been able to receive a testimony of everything else.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving a mission and trying to be an example to those back home. I would try to read my scriptures every morning and night, pray morning and night, attend church, and be the best person I could be so I could hopefully make God proud of me. I am always striving to do what Jesus would do. I am serving a full-time, two-year mission for the Lord in North Carolina. I hope that I can continue to do these things and gain as much knowledge and be the best person I can for the Lord. The Lord has blest me so much, and the I will never be able to repay him. The best thing I can do now is to serve him by striving everyday to repent and become more like Him and by serving others and helping them receive the same thing that has changed my life and made me as happy as I am today. The Gospel of Jesus Christ which is found in the restored Church of Jesus Christ and truly living it.
