Hi I'm Stephen

I grew up in Sandy, Utah. I am serving a mission in Chile. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just graduated high school and got accepted into a good university. I enjoy playing video games but I also enjoy playing soccer. I like drawing but I am not very good at it. I like learning about computers and programming although I don't know as much as I would like. I love math and hope to study it in college. I have been called to serve in the Chile Santiago West mission and I leave July 16, 2013.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I love how this Church's teachings make sense. Everything I learn connects to something else that I have previously learned and most often goes directly back to Christ's teachings. I know that this Church has the same organization as Christ's Church that He established while He was living on the earth and that the priesthood, the authority to act in God's name, was restored to Joseph Smith and Oliver Cowdery. I know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon by the power of God. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints helps me live a more Christ-like life and helps me progress myself. I believe that this Church drives me to do good things.

How I live my faith

I try everyday to behave as Christ would. I try to be a good example even though I know that I am not perfect. I try to help as many people as I can, even if it is as simple as holding a door for someone or stopping on the road to help a stranded driver. I attended seminary classes in my high school. I home teach some neighbors with my father. I am currently serving the Lord on a mission in Santiago, Chile where I enjoy testifying of the truths of the Gospel and serving others.
