Hi I'm Alex

I'm a doglover, and a printmaker. I love late-night fast-food runs, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a son. A brother. I love art: touring museums, drawing, printmaking. I love hitting the books and learning about culture and language. Right now I am living in Taiwan serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

Well, I remember when I was 8 years old. At that time I was a big reader. I was able to read through The Book of Mormon and finish it. I remember praying to know if the message of the restoration was real: if this stuff was really true. I felt it was a good and pure thing: just a simple feeling. After then, growing up, I sometimes would question if church and the gospel were important, but when I turned to prayer and reading the Bible and The Book of Mormon I could continue to feel that these things were true. Feel that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true and has been restored in it's fullness here in our time.

How I live my faith

When I was still in high-school, I helped out with music for my local ward: playing piano a bit and singing. Right now, I'm a full-time missionary, so I talk with people about how Jesus Christ and his teachings can help anyone in any situation. It's not too hard, except I have to do it all in Chinese.
