Hi I'm Kennedy

Currently serving a mission in Georgia Atlanta North. I love music/guitar!

About Me

My name is Kennedy Higginbotham. I am 19 years old and im currently serving the best mission in the world, Georgia Atlanta North! I have been serving as a full time missionary for 8 months now, and i love it. You have such amazing expiriences doing the Lords work. My biggest passion is music, i play guitar and i love writting music as well.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and always loved going to church and spending time at activities with my friends. When I was in highschool i gained my own witness that this is Jesus Christ's church and that we do in fact have modern day prophets that speak to our Heavenly Father. I know through the Book Of Mormon that Jesus Christ is our saviour and thats why I am in Georgia now, serving the Lord sharing this message with those around me.

How I live my faith

Choosing to serve a mission as a representitive of Jesus Christ is the best way i knew to live my faith. Since beginning my mission i have seen my testimony grow so much, and this is because everyday i focus on the Lord. However, you dont need to be serving a mission to gain a testimony of the Gospel. As long as we are striving to do better daily, we will grow in faith. I have without a doubt seen this in my own life. Since devoting all my time to the Lord, i see prayers answered daily. It is such a blessing to see Gods hand in my life in all the day i do. Especially since I have been on my mission, I have gained a love for reading the Book Of Mormon. Its amazing how reading the scriptures can help everyone. Through the spirit the Book Of Mormon will guide and direct everyone in all aspects of life, we just have to be seeking. Our Heavenly Father knows everything we need in our life, but we have to remember, if we are willing to put the kingdom of God first, all of the things we need will be added to us (3 Nephi 13: 30-33).
