Hi I'm Cooper VandeMerwe

I grew up in Utah, I play soccer, I love potatoes and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love sports and doing anything outdoors. I love snowboarding, hiking, swimming and spending time with family and friends. I played high school soccer for three years. After my mission to the Belgium/ Netherlands Mission, I will attend BYU.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and I'm so grateful for my parents and ancestors membership in the church. I have loved being a Mormon because it brings me so much happiness and helps me to know my purpose here on earth. I completely agree with the high moral standards of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. I know that I have been blessed by the Lord because of the way I have lived my life. I have a testimony of prayer and the power it brings. I know that I can accomplish anything with the Lords help, if it is his will. I know that there are true apostles and prophets on the earth today that serve as a mouthpiece for the Lord. I know that Jesus Christ atoned for my sins and died for me so that I can return to live with Him and my family again.

How I live my faith

I was born into the church and have held many leadership callings. I have served in both ward and stake callings where I have planned activities, given talks, and served my peers. I have been a home teacher with my father and have visited multiple families monthly. I have tried to be an example of my faith everyday by the way I act and treat others. I am currently serving a two year mission in the Belgium/Netherlands mission.
