Hi I'm Chanelle

I love sprinkles and ketchup and cheese (but not together, of course). I love to crochet and bake. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just got back from serving as a full-time missionary in the Ecuador Quito Mission (aka best mission in the world!). I served for about 6 glorious months before I was sent home on medical release for a herniated and degenerated disc in my spine, which needed special attention and recovery at home. My hobbies include the 3 R's: reading, (w)riting, and running. I'm also a crocheting master-in-training (well, not really, but I love to think that I am) and love making afghans!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in the Church and I knew it was something good and wonderful, but I had never wondered if it was true until I was about 18 years old. It was then that my whole family decided to stop going to church, and I was forced to choose if I wanted to follow their footsteps or continue in the faith that I had grown up in.

How I live my faith

In Alma 37:36, it says "Yea, and cry unto God for all thy support; yea, let all thy doings be unto the Lord, and whithersoever thou goest let it be in the Lord; yea, let all thy thoughts be directed unto the Lord; yea, let the affections of thy heart be placed upon the Lord forever." I try to live my faith by this verse in the Book of Mormon. I strive to give everything to the Lord, whether it be my actions, thoughts, or wants and desires. I'm not perfect and I mess up a lot, but through our Heavenly Father's endless love and forgiveness, I am able to learn and grow each day.

What will the Mormon missionaries talk about when they visit my home?
