Hi I'm Aaron

I am a Medic in the National Guard. I am a student. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a student working towards my undergraduate degree in Exercise and Wellness. Soon I will begin applying to graduate schools to become a Physician Assistant. To help pay for my school and to fulfill a life long goal I joined the Army National Guard as a Medic. The healthcare field provides me rewarding opportunities to help others in a field I enjoy. Outside of school and work I love to spend time reading books -- mostly science-fiction and fantasy, with the occasional biography. Occasionally I like to brainstorm my own ideas for books and hope to one day write one of my own stories. I also enjoy ultimate frisbee and soccer. When I am not occupied with the above I love to spend time with my family barbequing and fishing.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents raised me as a Mormon but I ultimately made the decision that the teachings and the lifestyle of the Mormon Faith were going to be a part of me forever. I compare the times in my life where I am faithful to times where my faith was lacking and there is a stark difference in my overall happiness. When I work at following Christ my life is filled with more joy. God's Plan for me makes sense. It provides direction and answers to his expectations and I would never give up the knowledge that I have for anything.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith so that it is apparent in everything I do, say and think.

What do Mormons believe about Jesus Christ? Do Mormons believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God?

Jesus Christ is the Son of God sent to Earth to set an example for us on how we should live. The most important part of his role in God's plan involved his suffering in the Garden of Gethsemane and his suffering and death on the cross. This sacrifice enables us to be resurrected with perfect bodies and provides the opportunity for life in God's presence forever. Show more Show less
