Hi I'm Annalisa

I am a lover of cookie dough and s'mores, I thrive from nature, I love love love music, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am 24 years old and I absolutely love life. I think that life is precious, and short, and should be lived to its fullest. I love LAUGHING. I enjoy being happy. Life is better when you are happy and laughing. I love the outdoors. Biking, swimming, camping, the lake, hiking, sports, anything and everything. Love animals... especially dogs. (RIP skittles) I like to have fun. If you call me last minute to do something epic, I will most likely drop whatever I am doing to come. I love China and the people there. I love traveling. i love adventure. but more than any of that, I love Jesus Christ and His gospel. I love being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I absolutely love my Savior! I am getting to know Him more and more every single day.

Why I am a Mormon

I choose to be a member of this church because I truly believe it. I have received a witness of God's truth time and time again, and I am beyond grateful for that. I never get tired of asking questions, and I feel so happy with all of the answers I have received. This life is hard, and that is never going to change. Day to day there are going to be struggles, hardships, and tough trials. Christ's gospel brings me an understanding of the big picture. It helps me to deal with the struggles of life in a way that makes me stronger. I have become better because of my Father in Heaven and the Savior. My very nature has changed. This life is one of learning and growing. It takes time and patience, but this church has provided me that opportunity to learn and grow. I feel peace and comfort as I follow the teachings and doctrines of the Savior. I feel so much peace with who I am becoming with my Saviors help.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by actually doing the things I learn. it takes work.... and sometimes that is daunting, but it always pays off. i mess up all the time, but just trying to be better helps me progress. the gospel of Jesus Christ= change. this time is actually a time to become! doing the "small" things in life like praying, reading your scriptures, going to church, and serving others has taught me the most about the Savior and who He is. Obedience is the quickest way to learn of the Savior and of our Father in Heaven. i have learned that throughout the course of my life and the choices i have made. Right now, I am also serving a mission in the Missouri Independence Mission. I have never felt so much happiness as I have spent my time serving and teaching other about Jesus Christ and helping them to come to Christ.
