Hi I'm Chandler

I was born in Arizona, I love to skateboard, play guitar, and play volleyball. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I live in Southern California, and I just graduated High School. I love to play indoor volleyball, and play outdoor beach volleyball. When volleyball season is over, I go skateboarding with my friends. A lot of them are not of my faith, but they all know that I am a Mormon, and they respect that. I like to hang out with them, because it gives me opportunities to talk about my faith and express why I do certain things.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been a Mormon all my life. I was born into the church, but I still had the option to follow its teachings or not. As I grew older, I became more independent and wanted to know more about the gospel, so I was not just following it because my parents were. I wanted to gain my own understanding and knowledge that this gospel was true. I read my scriptures, prayed, and kept the commandments that our Heavenly Father gave to us, and through this test, the spirit testified unto me that these things were true. I love to feel the spirit and that is why I continue to follow Jesus Christ and try to become more like him everyday.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending all my church meetings through out the week. I try my best to offer service to anyone I see or talk to. To some people it might seem like a lot of time to go to all the meetings, but I love it. My ward is like my family, we hang out together, and we are all very close. It give me great comfort to know that my ward welcomes me everyday with open arms, and a warm heart.
