Hi I'm Kingston Matua

I have grown up in Utah. I am a son, teammate, friend, and brother. I love playing football and rugby. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I current live in Lehi Utah and have received my mission call to serve in the Hawaii Honolulu mission, I report August 14 to the Provo MTC. I have graduate from Lehi High School and will be attending Brigham Young University when I return home from my mission. I have played football for most of my life and have been playing rugby through all 4 years of high school. I have just recently won the national title with my club team United, from Alpine Utah. I am afakasi, which in Samoan means half cast, my dad is Samoan and my mom is Caucasian with a strong Polish background.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born in to the faith with both of my parents being members also born in the church. Throughout my life I have continued to follow His gospel and build my testimony that it is true. I have I love for this gospel and a thirst for the knowledge of this gospel. I have a testimony that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the true church of The Lord. I believe that the Book of Mormon is another testament of Jesus Christ and that it was translated from ancient text by the Prophet Joseph Smith. I believe that Thomas S. Monson is a living prophet on this earth today and that he and his counselors and apostles have been chosen by God and sustained by the members of the Church. I believe that all mankind can be saved through the Atonement of Christ, the repentance process, and all other saving ordinances. I believe that through temple covenants and ordinances, that families can be together for all eternity. Finally, I believe that God I our Eternal Heavenly Father, we can be saved through His son Jesus Christ, and he speaks to us through the Holy Ghost.

How I live my faith

I have served in many different youth leadership presidencies and have been active in the hometeaching program since the age of 14. I have been on many planning boards and committees for youth summer activities.
