Hi I'm Ben

I love music, mathematics, computer science, and racquetball. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I just graduated from a liberal arts charter school. I am going on a mission to Naga City, Philippines. My family is comprised of my my mother, my father and two amazing younger sisters. I sing tenor and also play the trombone and piano. My dad and I love to play racquetball together. I am an Eagle Scout. Earning this award involved many hours of service for an organization called Save the Family. I love helping others, and I also love listening to classic rock. When I get together with my friends you can usually find us playing crazy games usually involving cards or boards of some sort.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this faith is the true gospel restored on the earth today, and that it is the only way that I can fully take advantage of the sacrifice that Jesus Christ made for us and become like our Heavenly Father. I know that this religion was organized by a true prophet of God under the proper priesthood authority. I know all of these things because, as I have, kept the commandments, read the scriptures (Bible, Book of Mormon, and the Doctrine & Covenants), and sincerely prayed to know if the Mormon faith was true, I have recieved witness from the Holy Ghost in the form of a feeling of true peace that the LDS church is the only one based on the true Gospel and teachings of Jesus Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by going to church every week and trying to learn something new. I go home teaching every month, which means that my father and I go visit two families from our congregation each month and share a gospel message with them and get to know them as well as providing service for them when needed. I am also going on a mission to the Philippines for two years, where I will teach others about my religion and invite them to follow the Lord's example and be baptized and join the church.
