Hi I'm Sarah Williams

I grew up in El Cajon, California. I like water polo and swimming. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of my siblings. I have completed a year of college and am preparing to leave on my mission. I played water polo and swam all through high school and I love water sports and beautiful beaches. I enjoy working with people who have special needs and I intend to pursue a degree in Special Education in the elementary school environment. I love to sing in choirs and have sung in church, institute, and high school choirs. Mostly I love my family and my time with them.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church, and have grown up learning the principles of the gospel. I chose to continue to be a member of this church and to follow the gospel of Christ because I have read the Book of Mormon and have prayed to know that the things in it are true. I have found that, when I am living the gospel and keeping the commandments of God, things that I am struggling with or have questions about become easier and I am able to find answers. I know that this church is true and that the gospel was restored to the earth by God through the prophet Joseph Smith. I know that families can be together forever. For me, the knowledge I have that the gospel is true brings me great peace and joy in my life, and I love being able to share that peace and joy with those around me.

How I live my faith

I often participate in community and church service projects organized by the Church. I will be going to Young Women's camp as an adult leader, where I will help them learn more about Christ and camping skills. My current calling/assignment is as a missionary, and I will be going to the Missionary Training Center at the end of July to begin my 18 months of service. As a missionary, I will be teaching the gospel to those who have the desire to learn more about the gospel and inviting them to come unto Christ through faith in Him and His Atonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift if the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end.
