Hi I'm Eric

I grew up in Washington State. I love having tons of fun! I enjoy singing scriptures, and making waffles. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm just a normal guy, trying to be the best I can be with what's been given to me. I grew up in a small trailer park, and have been able to experience all walks of life throughout my journeys. I love just being outside and enjoying nature. The gospel has changed my whole life, and how I look at everything/everyone around me. If it's fun, and you get to move while doing it, that's my kinda game! Music inspires me to become better! Currently I'm serving a 2 year mission for the church, and loving every minute of it!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because every day I can have the spirit with me if I'm worthy. I didn't always know these things were all true, and it's a constant journey. I've experienced for myself what true conversion really is. The Book of Mormon has changed my whole life, for the better. Because I've learned for myself that it's true I have been able to devote my time to God, and His work. Without that knowledge I wouldn't be where I am today. I really can say that it's because of the Atonement in every aspect that I'm a Mormon at this time in life. Everything just makes perfect sense, so much that a child can understand.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by sharing what I know to be true with others, and by being the example that Christ himself would have been. Serving everyone around me is who I am. If God was willing to give me the knowledge of the truth, I can't be selfish with it, and everyone deserves to feel the joy and happiness that comes from knowing that God is really there. "Do unto others as you would have done unto you."

How can we stop the spread and influence of pornography?

Eric
To stop the spread of pornography we have to be just as involved in getting rid of it as they are in creating it. We must speak out against it, it can't be "just another thing" to us if we want it to go away. When we as a society start to see the Human Body as an amazing creation, instead of an item to vandalize, and destroy, then will the influence diminish. God sees us as His children, we must see each other as Brothers, and Sisters. Show more Show less

Can you tell me about Mormon customs: how you dress for church, what holidays you celebrate, etc.?

Eric
The Lord asks us that we give the best that we're able, while still being modest and respectful for the Lord. Any Holidays that help us to remember God and His love for us are part of our customs. Every part of our life is important to God, so we should see birthdays and other things of that sort as important things personally. Show more Show less
