Hi I'm Jan

I grew up in Idaho. I am a wife. I am an Olympic-style Weightlifter. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife and I have no children. I work for a medical system in their billing office. I enjoy cooking, baking and crafting. My favorite hobby is Olympic-style Weightlifting. I started lifting when I was 17 and have competed nationally several times. Secondly, I love to learn about natural medicine and how to help the body to heal itself.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in a member family. At the age of 8, I was given the choice to join the church and I did join. I know and believe that everyone has gifts and talents. One of my gifts is Faith. Many times I have been presented with choices, illnesses and live events. With prayer and faith I have received inspiration. I know that the decisions that I have made were the best ones for myself. I have gone through the difficulty of being divorced. I am now happily re-married. All these small trials have allowed me to be empathic. I try to remember whenever I meet someone that they are probably dealing with a hard choice or illness. But like me, they still get up in the morning and do what they can do.

How I live my faith

I believe in serving others. I was raised and taught that service shows and gives love. I love to serve my family, friends and all others that I meet. I live my life to be an example of love, honesty and charity. I strive to learn all the layers of the scriptures; as I read, I am blessed with an expanded knowledge of the gospel plan. I strive to attend the temple offend, as I find peace in the House of the Lord. I have the opportunity to teach the children age 5-6. They are so smart. I enjoy teaching the children and someday I will be blessed with my own. I share the gospel with others by my example and love.
