Hi I'm Stacey

I grew up in Texas. I'm half Haitian. I love to play tennis, eat waffles, watch movies, and be crafty. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Hi ya'll! I'm Stacey. I'm just your average college student who loves to spend late nights hanging out with friends and trying to make my own fun. Some of my favorite things to do are playing tennis, discovering new food places, watching movies, old and new, exploring nature, and making crafts.

Why I am a Mormon

I was lucky to be born into the Mormon faith, so from a young age, I knew that this was the true church, and it was the only religion I had ever known. As I got older, I was able to exercise my agency and pray and search for myself if this really was the Lord's church restored on the earth again. I never really doubted if the church was true or not, but as I faced some trials in my life, I prayed to my Heavenly Father, and felt His loving embrace so strongly through my tribulations. In that moment, I knew without a doubt that the Atonement of Christ is real and that as long as I continued in this church and faith, I would have eternal happiness and joy in knowing that I can return to my Heavenly Father again. I love this church with all of my heart, it is the true church on the earth today. I'm so thankful for all that the Lord has blessed me with throughout my life, and for Christ and His sacrifice for us because He loves us so much. I love the knowledge and peace that I have gained from being a member of the LDS church, and I hope to share that same joy that I feel with others.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by being active in my church duties and making friends with others in my church. I always make sure to attend church each Sunday, and make the most of my time there. I try and fellowship those at church who don't come as often, or might be new. Most importantly though, I try to live as Heavenly Father would want me to, and follow the example of Christ. As long as I strive to be more Christlike and develop His attributes, I feel that I am living my faith and sharing my testimony with others by having the light of Christ within me.
