Hi I'm Chanelle

I am a ballerina. I teach dance to children and youth of all ages. I am a Mormon. I know it. I live it. I love it.

About Me

I love to dance. I have danced for as long as I can remember. I have become an accomplished ballerina and have for many years been teaching and sharing my love of dancing to children and youth of all ages. I work as a dance teacher.

Why I am a Mormon

I love the gospel of Jesus Christ! Being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the source of my happiness and zeal for life! I chose to be baptized a member at the age of 8. I understood that through being baptized and being confirmed a member of The Church that I was making sacred promises and covenants with the Lord. I was happy to know that I was choosing to follow our Saviour and doing what he asks and that by so doing he was happy with me and the life I was choosing to live. As I have grown so has my capacity to serve the Lord along with my knowledge and understanding of the love our Heavenly Father and Saviour have for us. When we choose to follow them and keep our covenants they pour out their blessings upon us! Growing in the gospel of Jesus Christ and through life experiences I have come to know, time and time again, that our Father in Heaven and our Saviour live! They love us more than we can comprehend. They know us each individually and by name. We are God's children and he wishes nothing more than for us to experience happiness and to arise to our true potential. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the source of true happiness and eternal truth! I know it. I live it. I love it!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending my weekly church meetings. I love going to church and hearing the true word of the Lord. I feel as though my spirit and mind are rejuvenated each week when I earnestly seek God's word. I read the scriptures. My love for the scriptures has grown over time as I have grown. As I have experienced more and seen and felt the things that life can give and throw at us, I have found peace, comfort, hope, and guidance through the words in the Book of Mormon and the Bible. I have found answers to questions and prayers and found experiences like my own through reading the scriptures. I have in a sense been able to see times where I have found myself in the scriptures. I pray. I love to know that I can pray to our Father in Heaven at all times and in all places. Prayer is our line of communication to our Father in Heaven. I know that he always hears and answers our prayers! It may not always be the way we hoped or anticipated, or immediately when we wish the answers would come. But they do come! And at times when we are required to wait upon the Lord for an answer, he will be there with us while we wait. He can uplift us, comfort us, give us hope, and guide us in the way of happiness he has planned for each one of us. At times through challenges, heart breaks, and afflictions, prayer has been the only thing I felt I could do, or the only thing left I knew how to do to help myself or those around me. I will eternally be grateful for prayer and the relationship it continues to strengthen and develop between my Father in Heaven.
