Hi I'm Tyler Ivie

I grew up in Highland, UT, I just graduated from Lone Peak High School and I'm preparing to serve a mission in Uruguay.

About Me

I am 18 years old, I have grown up in the LDS church my whole life, I know it, I love it and I live it, I am getting ready here to serve a LDS mission in Monetevideo, Uruguay and I can't be anymore excited to serve my Lord. I really like to play sports and video games, but if I had a choice to pick it would definitely be playing a sport. I just love to get outdoors and break a sweat knowing that I am accomplishing something.

Why I am a Mormon

Why I am a Mormon? First off I was born in the LDS (Mormon) Church so that's what i grew up to know and experience. But i didn't really understand to the full extent why i was attending church until like a couple of years ago when I recognized all the God given blessings that come through righteously living the gospel. I had doubts in my life but it has made me a stronger member of my faith and my testimony has grown exponentially. I attend church and partake of it's blessings through Heavenly Father (God) and Jesus Christ because it really just makes my life such a blast and entertaining time everyday, and who doesn't love having happiness in their life? Also because I know that the LDS church is the truth and I want to share it with all of you.

How I live my faith

I don't only just love the gospel but I love to live it everyday. The gospel makes me so much happier and having a constant companion opf the Holy Ghost helps me along everyday in my struggles and challenges. I served as a Teachers Quorum President for about 6 months. I attend a Youth group in my ward and I serve the Lord by doing my priesthood responsibilities like blessing the sacrament, watching over the ward, home teaching member families, and taking the sacrament to members who are unable to come.
