Hi I'm Tonah

I grew up in South Dakota (lived there every sense), I'm a sophomore in high school and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I play soccer, I'm involved in the drama department at my school, and I love hanging out with friends. I also love reading and writing!

Why I am a Mormon

well I grew up in the church so that's what got me into it in the first place, but eventually (probably after my first year going to girls camp) I gained a real testimony of the church for myself. so asking myself the question again, "why am I a Mormon?" I would have to say because I fully believe in the gospel of Jesus Christ and that this is the true and restored church on the earth today, because everything the church teaches us today just makes sense and isn't missing anything, and finally the last reason I'm a part of this wonderful church would be because whenever I'm involved in one of the church activities, go to church, or just am at home listening to a conference talk I get that amazing feeling of the spirit that you can't find any where else in this world.

How I live my faith

I go to church every Sunday, I try my best to get to all the Wednesday night activities and I overall try to be the best I can be.

Why are Mormons asked to donate 10% of their income to their Church?

because it helps with the building of church's, helps future missionaries with paying for missions, and mostly because God asked us to so we do it. Show more Show less

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

no one is required to serve a mission, men are expected to at the age of 18 but it is still their choice, and girls can go at the age of 19 but it is still up to them. Show more Show less

Are there restrictions based on race or color concerning who can join The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and have the priesthood?

their are absolutely no restrictions because of your race, everyone is equal and everyone is welcome. however only men can hold the priesthood but that's any male with the correct age and authority. Show more Show less
