Hi I'm Tiana

I'm from Utah and I'm preparing to serve a mission in Houston, Texas. I'm a Mormon and I love it!

About Me

I'm 19 years old and just finished my first year of college. I'm looking to get a degree in English with maybe a minor in political science or law. I'm now preparing to serve a mission and I am excited to bring others the gospel and watch my own testimony grow. I love to write, read, draw, paint, fish, act, sing, play piano, and listen to music.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church and was baptized at the age of eight. When I was young, it was something I did and believed in because that's what my parent's had taught me. As I grew up, I realized the importance of having my own testimony. I developed a habit of daily scripture study, personal prayer, and developed a very personal relationship with my Father in Heaven. The Spirit confirms to me every day that this is Christ's true church on the Earth today. All the principles taught are virtuous, good, true, and if followed, leads to a happy and fulfilled life that has real meaning. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints promotes everything good. It simply makes me happy. I know families can be together forever and that a life of happiness is a life of service. I know Christ's lived and through His Atonement I can be made pure from my sins. I know God loves me and each of His children unconditionally and with a perfect love. I'm a Mormon because I KNOW it's true. I feel it all the time. I'm a Mormon because I want to have an Eternal Family. I'm a Mormon because I love my Heavenly Father and my Savior and want to live with them again. I'm a Mormon because of the peace I feel in living the Gospel. I'm a Mormon because I know for myself. I'm a Mormon and I love it!

How I live my faith

One of the greatest callings I have had in the church is being a visiting teacher and just being able to talk to a befriend a sister in the ward. I had the opportunity a while ago to teach the youth in my area about missionary work and why I have decided to serve a mission. Being involved in the church brings many blessings to my life and gives me opportunities to serve!
