Hi I'm Lindsey

I'm from Idaho. I love my family more than anything. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I love to spend time with other people, read, play the piano, and be with my family (I am the second oldest of eight kids. Lots, huh?)This last year I spent three months serving in orphanages in Ecuador where I got to know some amazing children and came to understand how little ones can touch our lives. Currently, I am a college student considering dietetics but am taking a break to serve a mission in Argentina where I will teach others about our Savior Jesus Christ and his love for us. I love to learn and love being happy :).

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in this church, and have always had a strong testimony. However, it has become a lot more powerful as of late. I recently determined to read the Book of Mormon in two weeks. As I did so, I felt a peace that is truly unsurpassed by any other feeling. I knew then and I know now that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and that he wants me to be happy. I also know that He has provided a way for me to be happy through His inspired plan, centered on Jesus Christ. I am so grateful for the stability and understanding that the gospel brings into my life, even when all else is turmoil.

How I live my faith

I have had a few different positions in my church community. In particular, I have played the piano for different groups including my congregation and church choir. As I have done so, I have come to really appreciate the inspired hymns which we sing. I know that music can be a prayer to our Heavenly Father and am grateful that I get to participate.
