Hi I'm Kate

I'm a college student. I play soccer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student attending a university to major in Neuroscience. I love to learn about the human body and it's many amazing functions. I hope to use this passion to do research with autoimmune diseases. I love to play soccer, and I have made it a priority to get out and play almost every day. Music has been a large part of my life since I was a little girl, as I've played violin for nearly 15 years. I love to research new bands that I can listen to and share my findings with others.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have studied and researched this gospel, and know it to be true for myself. I was born into this church, and had to decide at a young age whether or not this was the right path for me. I have never been one to lean on other's opinions or testimonies. I have found that as I live this gospel, I have an inner peace and happiness that is so blatantly missing when I choose not to follow God's commandments. Being apart of this church has never been easy, but I know that the Lord has always blessed me and looked out for me. I know He loves me and I am a child of God.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by studying the gospel with my family. I have found that discussing the gospel with them has strengthened our testimonies and relationships. I have also been called to serve as a missionary and representative of Jesus Christ. I am excited to share my testimony with those who are not of my faith. My favorite way to live my faith is to serve others around me. I may not be actively sharing the gospel with them, but I am helping others which in turn is drawing those people and myself closer to God.
