Hi I'm Chad Harris

I am a small business owner a Husband and a father of 7, I love my family and im a Mormon

About Me

I was born into a large family. like most families we learned to work together, play together and at times disagree with each other. We expirenced the lose of a brother and the sadness and joys that come from family life. I married my high school sweat heart after serving a two year mission. We always wanted a large family. we are 9 in number. Our days are filled to the brim with work activities, football, wrestling, scouting, church and school. some of my greatest joys come from partisapating in my childrens lives. I love to see them grow, overcome trials and succeed.

Why I am a Mormon

I have learned to love the gospel of Jesus Christ at the feet of my parents. The truth that families can be together forever has rang true to me. Having a loving Father and Mother who love me, helps me to understand that I have a Heavenly Father who loves and cares for me. I see the great wisdom in the organization of the family unit. We learn, love, work, honesty, patience, integrity and we shape our character. Because of all I have experienced with my family good and bad I want to be with them forever. My family helps me to desire to be a better person to overcome my weaknesses and mistakes. I can look to my family as to a type of what it will be like to be with my heavenly Father. Through my family I can recognize that my Father in Heaven sent His son to help us overcome our mistakes through the atonement so that we can find joy in this life and return as families.

How I live my faith

I am serving as a Bishop in our church. I love the unit in which I serve. I especially the youth. I have always loved to be with the youth. It has been a great blessing to have taught and have been taught by children and then watch them grow to head there own families. It has been a blessing to be involved in so many young peoples lives. It is a blessing to be a part of my children's lives now as I serve as a Bishop.

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Chad Harris
The great thing about Latter Day Saints is that we don't only help other "Mormons" but, we help anyone we can. We are taught to follow the example of the Savior in all things. The Savior helped anyone & that is the example we strive to follow in our daily lives. Show more Show less
