Hi I'm Kasey Gulbranson

I was born and raised in British Columbia, Canada. I love to be active. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Everything in my life revolves around two main things: Family and Fun. I am married to a courageous wife who inspires me to become better everyday. My immediate family values hard work and spending time together to enjoy life. I particularly enjoy spending time outdoors doing activities such as fishing, golfing, and rugby. I currently spend a majority of my time with a full time job and full time work schedule. My experience has taught me that the harder you work, the harder you can play. But even work can become enjoyable when you are doing the things you love with people that you love.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because it has served as a immovable anchor during my life. When I have struggled to find answers and purpose, no other source has given more clarity and direction than the gospel of Jesus Christ. In it, I have found the strength to overcome obstacles, optimism to look forward, and understanding to know where I stand. Above all, I know that our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ live. Their love for us is limitless and ever-present. They have not abandoned us to live life blindly and aimlessly. I came to realize this more and more as I took time to serve families and individuals both at home and overseas. God expresses his love by calling prophets and apostles in our day, much like He called them in biblical times. To this day, we have the unique blessing of hearing the words of God through living prophets who speak to us clearly and truthfully. I know these things to be true. Christ's church, which existed during his time with apostles and prophets, has been restored. Christ himself presides over it with the help of modern-day prophets and apostles. And more importantly, all men are invited to know this for themselves the same way I learned this. By reading the Book of Mormon and asking our Heavenly Father through prayer, you too can know that these things are true. This is important to me because I know my purpose in life, where I came from, and where I will go. I know by what means I can live again with my family and friends once this life has reached it's end. By obedience to God's commandments this will be possible. This is my testimony, and I know it to be true.

How I live my faith

One of my responsibilities is to assist my local ecclesiastical leaders in their efforts to uplift, comfort, and support members of the community who are in need. Serving in this capacity has allowed me to develop a deeper love for my neighbors, and it has helped me improve myself to become a better citizen, friend, and husband. In addition to serving in my local congregation, I love to be a participating member in my community. I have enjoyed serving as a volunteer coach for children on community sports teams. I feel that a strong community of principled people can accomplish great things for individuals, families, and entire communities.
