Hi I'm Taggert

I'm from Utah and have been called to serve in the Honduras, Comayaguela mission. I report to the Mexico MTC July 10.

About Me

I'm an avid skier and I love to be outdoors. Living in Utah makes it easy to go out and appreciate God's beautiful creations. The mountains are my favorite place to be, and I always feel close to God when I spend time in nature! When I'm not skiing, hiking, or golfing I love to listen to music and be with friends and family. I'm a full time student in Salt Lake but that is on hold while I serve the Lord on a full time mission. I have been called to the Honduras. Comayaguela mission and I couldn't be more excited to go!

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up as a member of the church, I was raised by parents who encouraged me to go to church and expected me to be obedient, but they always insisted that I act on my own free will. I have chosen to follow the example of family, friends, and church leaders by progressing in the Gospel and pursuing a full time mission. I am grateful for my membership in the church and I don't know where I would be without it! As someone who has had to work hard to gain a testimony, I know for myself that I've made the right choices and I look forward to a lifetime of service and blessings.

How I live my faith

As a younger member of the Church I've been heavily active in the Young Men's program in my ward as well as Boy Scouts of America. I am a firm believer in the power of home teaching and I love the families I got to visit with each month in my home ward as well as the young single adults in my student ward in Salt Lake during the school year. I currently hold a mission call to serve in the Honduras, Comayaguela mission!
