Hi I'm Lauren

I am a wife, mama, and a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in a tiny town in Idaho with an amazing Mom and Dad two awesome older brothers. I went to Utah State University after graduating high school and recently graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and HR. I've been married for a little over two years to the man of my dreams and recently we just had our first little baby - a beautiful baby girl. She is such a joy! I love laughing, enjoying the beauties of nature and traveling, delicious food especially if it’s pancakes or popcorn or ice cream, designing and decorating or really anything DIY and crafty, baking and cooking - especially the eating at the end part, capturing candid moments, and most of all I just love being with people and creating wonderful memories.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know this is the gospel of Jesus Christ. Being a member of this church brings so much joy into my life. It's a lifestyle, and I love living it. Even though I still make mistakes and have regrets, striving to live the gospel prevents me from experiencing so much extra heartache. And when I am hurting, I know who I can turn to: Jesus Christ. I can't imagine where I would be without my Savior and this gospel. Jesus Christ is my foundation and I love Him dearly. Because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints: I know that I am God's daughter and that we are all His children, and He loves us each so much. I know I can be with my husband and baby girl and all of my family forever. I know that when I make mistakes I can be forgiven and start over with a clean slate. I know that the scriptures and words of the prophets and apostles are true, and they will help guide us to make the best decisions and to know what is truth in a confusing world. I know that miracles still happen today and that our loving Heavenly Father hears our prayers and answers them. I can't imagine living life without these truths - they bring me incredible peace and comfort. Being a member of this church is a really good way to live... no, it's an amazing way to live. Simply stated, I'm a Mormon and I love it! And I invite you to find out what this amazing gospel is all about too.

How I live my faith

In the Church, I've had various responsibilities ranging from teaching little children gospel principles, to organizing activities for my peers, to teaching and leading in the women's organization of the church, to making a program for worship services. I have the privilege of being able to visit other women in their homes, get to know them, and help them when I can through a program called "visiting teaching". It's wonderful to get to know amazing women of all ages and become friends with those I may never get to know otherwise. Most of all, I love being strengthened by all I associate with in the gospel. I learn so much from others and am constantly humbled and inspired by their examples.
