Hi I'm Dallin Porter Carlson

I love my family, baseball, and cereal. (: No one laughs at my jokes but me. I am a Mormon. Booya!

About Me

I come from a family of 8 that is strong in our faith. I am the second youngest and all of my older siblings are married. I have 5 beautiful nieces and 1 stud of a nephew. I played baseball and football in high school. I have been a member of the LDS church for my whole life! I love this gospel and want others to find the strength that I have found in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised a mormon. My parents taught me to love this church and to follow its teachings. They taught me that although they were a part of the church and they knew that it was true, that I had to find out for myself whether it was true or not. I gained my testimony through trials. I have had surgery on my left shoulder because I tore my labrum during my junior year of football and I had the same surgery on my right shoulder (my throwing arm) after my senior year of football going into my senior year of baseball after having played baseball for 11 years. The only way I was gonna play any of my senior season was if I learned to work hard and rely on my Heavenly Father. It was at that time where I felt my relationship with him grow. I knew that ALL things were possible with him and it was with his help I was able to overcome my weaknesses and finish my season strong. I came to know that my Father in Heaven loves me and takes care of me. It was through this and many other trials I knew I was in the right place. With God nothing shall be impossible unto you!

How I live my faith

Every day I show my willingness to Heavenly Father by obeying his commandments, serving others, and sharing the gospel with his children which is AWESOME! (: I strive to uplift others and let them know that they are appreciated and loved by a Father in Heaven who does know them and wants them to be happy. I am currently serving a full-time mission in Iowa and I get to show others how cool the Gospel really is!
