Hi I'm Sarah Lindsley

I grew up in Utah. I am an Aggie and business student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I utilize my creativity through canvas painting, playing the piano and interior design. I enjoy all kinds of music, though I lean more towards the indie or acoustic genres. Complex music scores fascinate me.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the LDS faith. My parents were active members, and continue to be such. I have always gone to church, and always believed it to be true. However, it was during my early college years where I really came to know that I believed. This is usually a make-or-break time for young people as they discover themselves. In those times of doubt and hardship- I wasn't going to church regularly. It was when I gained the true desire to follow the Lord and let him lead my life- that I began to be happy. Happier then I had ever been. I was at peace and knew that the Lord loved me. If nothing else is true- I know that living by the gospel teachings I have become happy and at one with God. But of course, I believe that this church is 100% true. I do not doubt it. There is no way I could.

How I live my faith

While I was in my teenage years, I was in positions of leadership over girls my age or a little younger. In the later years I was asked to go along with a girls camp and help the adult leaders. Working in leadership positions have been a big part of my experiences in this church. I have always felt loved by the adult leaders and those I worked along side. When I entered college, I had the opportunity to plan a prayer meeting each Sunday evening. There, about 20 students from the local church would gather today and we would talk about our week, spiritual insights, upcoming events, then close with a group prayer. I loved this calling. I was able to meet new people each week and become better friends with those that came regularly. Currently, I am preparing to serve a full-time mission for the LDS Church. This is an incredible opportunity and blessing for me, so be called to preach the gospel.
